After the EOL date, vendors are no longer responsible for support the
product in question. Security updates announcement and development will
cease.
The Product Support Cycle:
- Active product support
- Mainstream support, post discontinuance (free and paid
support)
- Extended support (paid support only)
- End-of-Life (no support)
Mainstream support will end 5 years after release, or 2 years
after the next release, whenever is later. Extended support will end 5
years after that.
