Back in 2001, most clients didn't have any means of sending us SMS message, as texting had not yet caught on in the US. Initially, only Sprint PCS offered it, with very obscure adoptation. Today, virtually anyone can send text via their phone, or 3rd party web portals. This page remains for technological demo purposes: CGI + Javascript + custom animation
