Animated bullet items in PowerPoint 2007

Summary:

Problem:  Using multiple static slides to manually and progressively populate each individual bullet item is unsound. It makes the file needlessly bulky. Worse, the slightest change would require enormous efforts to duplicate/coordinate across scattered slides.

Solution:  Create a single slide with all bullets. Invoke the new animated bullet feature. At each mouse click (or after a delay), a bullet item is displayed. Such dynamic unveiling is intelligently managed by the program. Reorganizing, addition and removal of items become simple and reliable!

• When you create a new slideshow, you get the default Title Slide.
• On left pane, right-click empty space to add a new slide.

• You get a default slide with title on top, and bullet list area on bottom.
• Type in all your bullet items on the same slide.
• Select the bullet list object to create animated sequence.

• On "Animations" tab, drop-down Animate list, select By 1st Level Paragraphs (Fade/Wipe/Fly-in).
• You may customize sound and speed (optional).
• Confirm that "On Mouse Click" box is checked.
• Congratulations! You're all done! Save it and test.
